Winning Against Covid19

I beat COVID19 with this EUA treatment and steroids. After 5 days of treatment, I was Covid19-free and released with a clean bill if health.

This perspective is from a doctor who has been in practice since 1988:

Among all the vaccines I have researched in my life - diphtheria, tetanus, measles, rubella, chickenpox, hepatitis, meningitis and tuberculosis - and I should include more recently, flu, pneumonia, and shingles:
▪︎I have never seen a vaccine that forced me to wear a mask and maintain social distance, after you are fully vaccinated.
▪︎I never heard of a vaccine that spreads the virus even after vaccination.
▪︎I never heard of rewards, discounts, or incentives to get vaccinated.
▪︎I never saw discrimination for those who didn't.  If you haven't been vaccinated, no one ever tried to make you feel like a bad person.
▪︎I have never seen a vaccine that threatens the relationship between family, colleagues, and friends.
▪︎I have never seen a vaccine used to threaten livelihoods, work, or school.
▪︎I have never seen a vaccine that would allow a 12-year-old to override parental consent.

After all the vaccines I listed above, I have never seen a vaccine like this one, which discriminates, judges, and divides society!

The ‘vid VACCINES do all these things EXCEPT ACTUAL IMMUNIZATION !!

If we still need a booster dose after we are fully vaccinated - and we still need to get a negative test after we are fully vaccinated - and we still need to wear a mask after we are fully vaccinated - and still be hospitalized after we have been fully vaccinated - it will likely come to this:
"It's time for us to admit that we've been completely deceived."

A Melancholy Friday

Bad news received today via Facebook. My Stuttgart roommate posted the death of a sergeant that I served with while in the 82d Airborne Division.
This man decided that has pain had to be squashed by taking his own life. I was broken a bit this morning when I read the news. SGM Roldan posted the viewing and internment particulars happening later this month.
As soon as I heard, I attempted to think of ways that I could possibly travel to North Carolina. Unfortunately, I may have limited resources keeping me from traveling by car.
I'll continue thinking about the trip and try to crunch the numbers to see if I can see this full military ceremony.

Door Closes On My Lexus

In 2019 before the world was shutdown for a cold I decided to purchase a car. I really didn't need it but at the time I realized I could take the leap and jump into a car loan. Little did I know about the finance company I ended up with.
American Credit Acceptance has been the worst organization when it came to communicating issues with them.
ACA has been by far one of the best companies I’ve had to deal with for financing. They are always willing to help. Last week, my car was repoed and I’d been dealing with personal issues. The agent worked with me to reduce my payment and helped get my car out. You don’t get that kind of service often as companies are usually eager to double dip. They’d tow and sel your car, foot you the bill and still win off the sale. Not these guys!
My daughter was in and accident with my car and as you can see it was totaled. This credit company continues charging me the entire car note until I reach a zero balance.

I know better now. And with my credit on good standing was able to buy a newer car with NO MONEY DOWN and a 2% interest rate.

Riverwalk Becomes The Norm

Today I did more walking along the Tampa Riverwalk. This well become a daily endeavor no matter the weather. Needing a routine to kill the monotony is a must today.
No more time spent watching news over things I have no control over will also help my anxiety.
With Kaylas school year coming to a close it well be good t I explore further away from Tampa when the weather starts to heat up. This is priority one when the girls finally get their own vehicles within the next several months.
My duties as the family taxi will come to an end.

Cutting Expenses Is A Habit Now

Since I became more reliable on my fixed income changes had to be made. Going out to eat or even hitting the occasional drive-thru has to be curtailed. When stretching your income it becomes necessary to make the dollars stretch.
I used to be a heavy driver and traveling to different touristy type locales here in Florida too. With the current price of a single gallon of gasoline over $3.50 my driving far has been cut exclusively. I'm no longer going out to the farms of Polk County or even to see the nightlife of Disney.
It's just getting a bit crazy to even own a vehicle. But my kids need a way to get to their own jobs and school. I'm sure they appreciate what I do for them.

Blood Pressure Medicines That Help Me

I've been taking a new blood pressure medicine over the past month or so. The Veteran's Affairs primary care doctor that I am assigned to put me on a different medicine. After going over a history of my blood pressures he informed me of a medicine that was good at stabilizing my blood pressure readings.

I've accepted that taking multiple medications for a myriad of issues need my focus. Nifedipine has become a really good medicine for keeping my blood pressures constant. No flare-up is too high after I've taken roughly 60mg doses of this little pill.

Below is a current blood pressure reading that I have recorded approximately 5 days upon receiving the new medicine.
