Tobacco Depot Visit

Tobacco Depot is a cigar lounge that I frequented a few times. During the previous two football seasons, I would go there and sit down for a couple hours having a smoke and the occasional hook. Some of the guys that were long-timers owned lockers where they kept their favorite adult beverages.
I didn't have a locker and because many of the guys there were friendly, sharing happened quite a bit.
So, I believe 6-7 months ago they moved the entire shop to a much more open and larger shop. The larger shop allowed the cigars to be spread out better and not jammed into a small back room like they used to be. Now I can clearly see prices for my best smokes and smoking accessories like lighters and cutters.
On my latest visit to the new location I tried a JFR 5-Star pictured below. It was a very favorable stick with plenty of pepper and spice like the way I  like them.

First Sweet Pairing of a Maduro Cigar

A few weeks ago I traveled down to Johns Pass in southern Pinellas county. Florida has several of these resort sleepy towns that sometimes have a boardwalk with shops and other tourist businesses.
The drive from Hillsborough to Pinellas along I-275 wasnt bery eventful drive. No accidents and going over the long bridge to Clearwater was decent.
I found Cuban Paradise, the cigar shop within a small coffee bar in the front. As pictured above there is a cigar roller behind the glass too.
They gave a very nice line of sweet Maduro cigar offerings of varying sizes. I was happy with a 54 sized torpedo tip that was rather sweet to the taste.
I enjoyed this cigar very much. However, the price per stick was a little steep for what I expected. Evidently, these sticks are "tourist priced".
