Evan Williams has become my go to for bourbon. Lately, the "Bottled in Bond" variety has become a solid mixer. When a food meal and cigar are on my menu I will have a couple mixed drinks. This bourbon pairs well within Cola and when I'm really feeling frisky, ginger ale. My next go to with an over 100 proof is Wild Turkey 101.
Below is a higher proofed Wild Turkey product that I recently splurged on after the New Year. I know there are much higher proofed juices of bourbon but this one barely had a burn to it. And to me at tasted of burnt bananas. Not burnt badly but burned to add a toasty flavoring. The 116.2 alcohol proof was the most I've ever had. I had no fear and sipped on this one neat. The $54.00 price tag also expressed this one as too tier.
