Silver Squeeze Is Percolating At Just The Right Time

It seems like there's a bit of a "silver storm" brewing in the bullion market! As of the latest data, the silver price is showing some serious muscle, with a notable surge of almost 5% in a single day. This surge, combined with the ongoing discussions about a potential silver short squeeze, has created quite a buzz among investors and market watchers.

The silver market, often overshadowed by its golden sibling, is currently experiencing a significant uptick in both interest and price. This is partly due to the predictions of various analysts and institutions, who foresee a bullish future for silver. Some forecasts suggest that silver could hit a 10-year high, reaching $30 per ounce, which would be a remarkable feat considering its last peak at this price was back in February 2013.

The World Silver Survey and the Silver Institute are also painting a rosy picture for silver in 2024, with predictions of a record-sized silver supply deficit and a forecast for silver demand to reach the second-highest level on record. This high demand, coupled with constrained supply, is likely to create an environment ripe for a potential silver bullion squeeze.

Adding fuel to the fire, there's a lot of chatter on social media platforms about a silver short squeeze. The hashtag #silversqueeze has been trending, with many users speculating about the possibility of a significant price surge driven by a silver short squeeze. This is where the fun begins, as the silver market seems to be on the brink of a potentially explosive move.

So, whether you're a seasoned investor or just someone who enjoys a good market drama, keep an eye on the silver market. It might just be the next big thing in the world of precious metals. And remember, in the words of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "Don't panic!"

Story Behind My Favorite US Bullion Coin

American Silver Eagles are the official silver bullion coins of the United States, introduced in 1986 by the U.S. Mint. They are struck only in the one-troy ounce size, with a nominal face value of one dollar and are guaranteed to contain one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver. These coins have become one of the most popular silver bullion investments globally due to their quality, design, and the backing of the United States government.

The obverse of the American Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman's "Walking Liberty" design, originally used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. This design is widely considered one of the most beautiful American coins ever minted. In 2021, the U.S. Mint marked the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program with a refreshed design. The reverse of the coin now shows a bald eagle landing on a branch, symbolizing strength and freedom.

The coins are minted in various locations, including San Francisco, Philadelphia, and West Point. The mint mark on the coin indicates where it was produced. Proof versions of the coins are minted for collectors and are struck multiple times to ensure a high level of detail.

In recent years, the American Silver Eagle has become more than just a bullion coin. It has also become a popular item among collectors, with special editions and commemorative versions released to mark significant anniversaries and events. The coin's value is based on its silver content and its collectability, making it a valuable investment for both investors and collectors.

Remember, the value of the American Silver Eagle can fluctuate based on the current market price of silver, and collectors and investors should always consider this when buying or selling.

Silver Races Past The Mental Block Price

My favorite metal, silver woke up this fine Friday morning and shot above the $30 mark. One ounce of silver today saw a $2.00+ jump throughout the day.

I was seeking a few silver pieces for my mid-month purchase and I failed to pull the trigger. Waking up and seeing this afternoon a price of over $40+ dollars per ounce knocked.me for a loop. Now I'll have to hold off my buy for this month. I'm hoping a price correction occurs and we can get below the $40 price.

That premium seems to be getting closer and closer to the actual market spot price. At the end of the month of May entering June I'm weaning myself off of the XRP buys and going back onto my physical silver buys if a good price correction happens.

For me it's either Cryptocurrency or Physical metals that I'm putting at least 15% toward my rainy day funding. What are you doing with your rainy day funding? Use the comments below to share your ideas.

AMERICAN EXPRESS Fee Waivers Explained

Currently, I'm  an American Express PLATINUM cardholder. I was going through a few reddit threads in the "r/AmexPlatinum" arena. I tend to gravitate to areas of REDDIT that I have a solid interest in. A couple of them are related to veteran's issues, of course.

Well, today I came across the ability to have the AMEX annual fees waived. Upon other reading of articles and forum threads, I found something really interesting. Although I'm a veteran of multiple deployments all over the world, it took me a bit to get to the final answer I was searching for.
Active-duty military have the benefits of an annual fee waiver for both the AMEX GOLD ($250) and AMEX PLATINUM ($695), respectively. There is an actual legal statute that reinforces this rule for waiving the annual fees of both cards. Something called the SCRA. Even if your not a servicemember you should have a look at where your credit score is. Get your free credit score at a reputable service to learn what issues you may have to deal with.

However, Amex waives fees for the annual fee of some cards if the fee is during the SCRA benefit period. The SCRA, or Service Members Civil Relief Act, was established in 2003 to reduce some civil obligations for active duty service members and their spouses. Eligible card members can request SCRA relief from the start of active duty up to 180 days after they leave.

Gas Prices Keep Us Home Now

Gas prices have surged across the US, reaching as high as $5.19 per gallon in some areas, causing widespread frustration and concern among consumers. The Biden administration is working to address the issue, highlighting positive economic indicators such as rising wages and low unemployment rates. Despite the challenges, some individuals have found humor in the situation, sharing their experiences and frustrations on social media. As the situation continues to evolve, consumers are encouraged to stay informed and adapt to the changing market conditions.

And you notice how this bidenomics administration attempts to gaslight. Releasing numbers on how good jobs are growing and wages being elevated in certain parts of the country. Along with this gaslighting bullshit we never get the other side of the story. And then a few weeks later comes the adjustment of the numbers.

I'll be staying closer to home. Making long trips around the state of Florida could be much more expensive. In my house we're praying that the economy of Donald Trump's presidency comes roaring back when he's reelected in November.

Are you cutting back on the use of fuels for travel in your area? Let me know in the comments section below.

Federal ACP Sent Me A Reminder

Under the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), you must use your Spectrum Internet service at least once every 30 days or you will lose your monthly ACP benefit.

Don’t put your benefit at risk. Take these steps to continue to receive your internet credit.
         • Make sure your internet modem is connected and powered on.
         • Surf and browse using your Spectrum Internet service.
         • Use your internet at least once every 30 days.

The above notice was sent to me this afternoon from my internet service provider. Understand that this program that was added to my old account was cut off in April. My new account in a new house does not have this option for a $15 credit available.

As you can see, the Federal government is a day late and a dollar short in every capacity. This is why you and me as individuals should NEVER EVER rely on government to provide any necessity in your life.

Never settle in your mind to feel entitled to any entity awarding you a freebie. Because as you can see. You eventually need to be self supported in all ways.

Grok Told Me This About Early Retirement Ventures

Early retirement ventures are a hot topic among people looking to break free from the traditional 9-to-5 grind and enjoy a more flexible, fulfilling lifestyle. The desire to retire early often stems from a combination of factors: a longing for more personal freedom, a wish to pursue passions outside of work, and the need to escape the stress and monotony of a conventional job.

One of the most popular strategies for achieving early retirement is the FIRE movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early). This approach emphasizes aggressive saving, strategic investments, and frugal living to build a nest egg that can support a comfortable early retirement. The idea is to save a significant portion of one's income (often 50% or more) and invest it in a diversified portfolio that can generate passive income.

Another popular strategy for early retirement is entrepreneurship. Many individuals choose to start their own businesses or side hustles, with the goal of creating a sustainable source of income that doesn't require full-time work. These ventures can range from freelancing and consulting to e-commerce and real estate.

For those who prefer a more hands-off approach, investing in the stock market or real estate can provide passive income streams that can help fund an early retirement. This strategy requires a solid understanding of the market, as well as the discipline to stick to a long-term investment plan.

Ultimately, the key to a successful early retirement venture is careful planning and a clear understanding of one's financial situation. This includes setting realistic goals, creating a budget, and developing a comprehensive retirement plan that takes into account factors such as healthcare, taxes, and inflation.

Remember, early retirement is not just about financial freedom, but also about the freedom to pursue a life filled with purpose and meaning. So whether you're dreaming of starting a goat farm or a lawn care business, the path to early retirement is as unique as the individual pursuing it.
